The world is struggling in the wake of COVID-19; with unplanned lockdowns and fear of the future, world economy faces a crisis worse than 2008. No industry is spared.
Necessity being the mother of invention, this has led to a digital revolution, with all service industries adapting work from home trying to ensure, as before, data security norms.
In the Insurance industry – the lockdowns have, adversely, affected both pre-issuance medicals and field verifications.
The industry must adapt tech – analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence
Given the above background, on occasion of 25th Anniversary of InCHES Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, Risk Management Association of India in collaboration with InCHES have organized a panel discussion with top leaders of the insurance industry.
The topic is, “Tech alone or judicious mix of tech and human capability for prudent decisions in insurance?”. The session not only focuses to bring together key stakeholders in the life and health insurance space but also to discuss the future dependency on technology and newer tools vs human intervention to bring out the best for efficient risk mitigation in these challenging times.
