Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus has recently organised a workshop on ‘Innovations in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking’.
With the aim of educate students regarding different tools and techniques that the ethical hackers and professional of information security in order to secure their organisations against any cyber attack.
During the workshop, the students were provided hands-on environment with a systematic ethical hacking techniques.
A cybersecurity expert Surmeet Singh (cyber security expert) elaborated on penetration testing tools while discussing several security techniques used by Facebook to protect user data.
The workshop also included some live hacking sessions on making safe use of debit/credit and other smart cards were given to the students. Singh also discussed the vulnerabilities of wi-fi enabled debit and credit cards in NFC enabled devices.
