Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and leading tech firm Intel have recently signed a pact in order make the next generation AI-ready. Through this collaboration, Intel aims to empower around 1 lakh students digitally with Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration in the education system.
CBSE will introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) curriculum framework for standards – VIII, IX and X for 22,000 schools, according to the statement of the company.
“AI has become a strategic imperative for worldwide economic growth and will continue to be one of the most crucial technologies of the future,” said Shweta Khurana, Director-Programmes, Partnerships and Policy Group at Intel India.
She added, “Our collaboration with CBSE is a meaningful step towards enabling our youth to become digitally-empowered and effectively utilise emerging technologies such as AI to solve pressing local and global challenges.”
The curriculum will be based on ‘Intel AI For Youth’. This hands-on learning programme consists of experiential methodologies that cover both social and technological skills.
