Kerala will soon launch a massive total digital literacy campaign in order to cater to the state’s surge to the common people of the grass-root level. Powered by the Kerala State IT Mission under the Department of Information Technology and Kerala Literacy Mission, the drive is titled as ‘I am also digital.’
The programme intends to develop the capacity of the whole society so that the benefits of digital technology inclusive a spectrum of online services can be catered to the common people. The drive also aims to educate people regarding the cyber security issues at the backdrop of rapidly increasing cybercrimes, according to the statement.
The campaign will exclusively focus on creating public awareness regarding the e-governance and equip them to make use of several digital platforms, while setting a model for the entire country.
