Wipro and CrowdStrike have launched a CISO Command Centre aimed at helping organisations manage increasingly complex cyber risks linked to artificial intelligence. The initiative combines cybersecurity capabilities with AI-driven threat intelligence and risk management to provide security leaders with greater visibility into emerging threats and support faster decision-making.
The command centre is designed to address risks arising from AI adoption, expanding digital environments and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Its focus includes continuous monitoring, threat detection, risk analysis and security response, helping Chief Information Security Officers assess threats across their technology environment. As organisations deploy generative and agentic AI, security teams increasingly need to consider risks associated with AI systems alongside conventional endpoint, cloud and identity threats.
The development reflects a broader shift towards integrated cyber-risk management, where organisations seek to combine real-time threat intelligence, security operations and risk governance rather than managing these areas independently. For financial institutions, this approach is particularly relevant because AI adoption is expanding across fraud detection, customer service, risk assessment and operations, while cyber attackers are also using AI to increase the speed and sophistication of attacks.
